Hi, I’m Claudia, a nutritionist with over 16 years of clinical experience. I lecture at the British College of Nutrition and the Nutritional Healing Foundation. I discovered CBD while working with clients with fibromyalgia and realised how life changing it can be. I initially set up Mighty Green to help my clients and am on a mission to create the highest quality CBD products combined with active ingredients that really work.

Mighty Green recently won The Natural and Organic Awards 2022 as well as The Cannavist Best Body Care Awards 2022! Congratulations! It would be great to hear the story behind this!


Thanks! We were especially thrilled to win the Best New Body Care Award at the Natural and Organic Awards because it’s such a huge category. We were up against skin lotions, bath products, tanning products, and more. We were so grateful to the public who voted for our Muscle Balm to make it into the finalists. A panel of judges then chose the Muscle Balm as the category winner.

What advice would you give to entrepreneurs about building their own brand?


Take time to truly understand who your target audience is. We launched thinking millennials would be our largest demographic but actually it’s women in their 40s and 50s.

What’s advice you could offer entrepreneurs on marketing their brand on a tight budget?


Even with a limited budget, by being strategic and resourceful you can effectively promote your brand and attract new customers. We are still a small brand and have found the following helpful:


– Focus on your email database and work hard to keep existing customers engaged with your brand
– Seek out collaborations with like-minded brands and influencers. Go to trade and customer shows, industry events and join online forums.

Mighty Green are stocked with huge retailers including QVC! What advice would you give to small businesses’ on getting their products stocked with large retailers? 


I would say pursue every opportunity. Try to register with distributors, contact retailers directly, and ask advice from people who have managed to get listed. Compliance is rigorous so make sure you are building a really solid foundation with your products or service, with all the correct certifications and best practices etc as you go along.
